“And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain” (1 Cor. 15:14).
Happy Good Friday! Today Christians commemorate the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, an historical event that has been documented by non-biblical sources. Even skeptics must agree that the evidence shows that Jesus of Nazareth was a real person who died on a cross on a hill called Golgotha 2,000 years ago.
The real question is, did Jesus actually rise from the dead?
On our Focus on the Family Broadcast “Why the Easter Story Must Be True,” we’re airing a recorded message by Pastor Andy Stanley who provides sound reasons to believe in the literal, bodily death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, a truth many of His disciples believed so completely that they were willing to die to proclaim it.
Hear why the Easter story is unbelievably believable on your local radio station, online, on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, or take us with you on our free phone app.
A CD copy of this program is available from our website. We also have an online store that offers helpful digital and print resources in the areas of marriage, parenting, faith, and issues related to many other life challenges.
You may also be interested in a free online booklet we’ve written called, “Coming Home: An Invitation to Join God’s Family,” which explains what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
