God’s Amazing, Unconditional Love

No one is beyond God’s reach.

Not even Kelly Stigliano. By age 13, she was sexually promiscuous and involved in divination, witchcraft, and the occult. She and her friends regularly smoke, drank, took drugs, held séances, and vandalized the neighborhood. By age 18, she was pregnant and suicidal.

Kelly married the father of her children and within two weeks she was caught in a cycle of abuse. At its worst, she begged her husband to kill her, so the abuse would end. He’d respond by saying, “I’m not gonna kill you; I’m just gonna make you wish you were dead.” And he did.

Fortunately, Kelly fought back the right way: She fled her abusive situation and found safety for herself and her children.

She was free from abuse, but not from her own self-destructive behavior. She remained lost in drugs and alcohol and described herself as “Satan’s little princess.”

But God saw her as “a daughter of the King.”

On our Focus on the Family Broadcast “God’s Amazing, Unconditional Love” we’re airing a recorded message from Kelly where she shares how she learned that God loved her unconditionally, even in the midst of a life of desperation and hopelessness.

You can tune in on your local radio station, online, on iTunes, via Podcast, or take us with you on our free phone app.

Kelly says that God loved her unconditionally first – then He saved her and helped her choose new behaviors. She didn’t have to be perfect for God to love her or for Him to come into her heart.

Praise God that’s true for all of us … including you.

If you’d like to learn more about starting a relationship with Jesus Christ, you may be interested in a free online booklet we’ve written called, “Coming Home: An Invitation to Join God’s Family.”

If you’re in an abusive relationship, I urge you to find a supportive friend and let them know what’s going on in your home. Ask if you can stay with them. Or contact the nearest domestic violence shelter and find out where they’re located.

I also encourage you to speak with one of our counselors. It would be their privilege to offer you a free initial consultation and advice on how to handle your situation. Call us, leave your name and number, and they’ll get back with you just as soon as possible. The number during business hours is 1-800-A-FAMILY (232-6459).

I’d also like to offer you a CD of the program for a gift of any amount. Check our website for details. We have many other resources related to marriage, parenting, and faith available in our online store.
