Last month Focus on the Family was proud to be part of the nationwide theatrical release of “MULLY,” an award-winning docudrama that shares the inspiring true story of Charles Mully.
More than 100,000 people around the country showed up to watch Mully overcome personal tragedy and poverty to achieve wealth and power – only to give it all up to help rescue more than 12,000 children living on the streets of Kenya.
And now, “MULLY” is back for an encore showing on Thursday, Nov. 9 – and if you haven’t watched the film, I hope you’ll join us.
Why?
Because I believe “MULLY” is a life-changing movie – in more ways than one.
For starters, it can change the lives of the men and women who watch it.
As viewers watch Mully wrestle with God’s call on his life, and as you see Mully and his family pay the cost of obedience, it’s natural for their thoughts to turn inward: “What is God calling me to do? How can I serve?”
And these are the questions God can use to make an impact into eternity.
Secondly, “MULLY” is changing the lives of orphans around the world. And that’s because a portion of the film’s proceeds go to support orphans domestically through Focus on the Family, and internationally through the Mully’s Children’s Family organization.
So if you haven’t watched “MULLY,” please consider purchasing your tickets and joining us Nov. 9. And if you have watched the movie, please consider sharing about the movie with a friend – or get a group together and watch the film again with them!
And as a special gift for your interest in “MULLY,” I want to share with you a free download of “I Won’t Let You Go” by SWITCHFOOT. The band was incredibly moved by the story of Charles Mully and wanted to share this special acoustic version of this song “about unconditional love” with fans so they could “be part of the special encore event.” You can download your free song here.
Again, please help us spread the word: visit www.focusonthefamily/mully to purchase your movie tickets and to join us on Thursday, Nov. 9!
