Where is God?
Isn’t that the question most of us ask in times of trouble? How can we live with strong faith day in and day out when there’s not even the certainty of the next heartbeat?
Julie and John Manning are living those questions. In the middle of their son Hunter being delivered by C-section, Julie started feeling lightheaded and dizzy. The faces of the physician, surgical staff, and the anesthesiologist went blurry and their voices echoed in the background.
When she followed up with her cardiologist, an ultrasound revealed that her heart was only functioning at half of its capacity. Several weeks later she learned that she was at risk for sudden cardiac death. Doctors installed a defibrillator, and her heart has been shocked back into working rhythm several times.
Julie and John have walked a road of uncertainty for many years and are with us to share how they’ve discovered peace and hope in Christ along the way. Tune in for their riveting story on “Surrendering My Heart to God” on your local radio station, online, or on our free phone app.
Julie and John have three boys – Noah, Hunter, and Joshua. Julie has captured her family’s story of trial and trust in her book My Heart: Every Beat Surrendered to Our Unchanging God.
