I recently had the opportunity to sit down and tell a story via video that will be shown at this year’s Catalyst conference in Atlanta, Ga. If you’re not familiar with Catalyst, it’s an organization that works to shape the next generation of leaders. Its annual conferences have drawn more than 100,000 young men and women eager to learn how to serve and lead others in a Christlike way. My friend, Brad Lomenick, heads up the movement and does a great job of bringing together people this next generation needs to hear.
I want to share the video with you now, which dovetails with the theme of this Catalyst conference, “Known.” As we engage the culture, let’s ask ourselves, “What are we known for?”
Since our inception, Focus on the Family has been helping the younger generation prepare for marriage and children. Resources, tactics and strategy may change, but the timeless principles of the Bible do not. We are here to lend a hand. My prayer for these passionate young men and women is for them to be as intentional in their leadership of their homes as they are about leading the culture, because raising godly families is the best way to impact our world for Christ.
