Bracelets as a form of fashion go back thousands of years, whether as jewelry made of gold, silver or even wood.
In recent years, though, bracelets have been used to help communicate a message or champion a particular cause.
My friend, Randy Hatcher, co-founder of Explore Your Faith, recently alerted me to a neat bracelet his organization is distributing. Here is how they describe it:
The bracelet is intended to be a relational, live, Gospel conversation starter. A chance for you to tell your story of what the Gospel means to you. As Christians, we all know the earth is not our home, and that every day we are a little bit closer to being HOME in heaven with God and all of His people. Yet this is a foreign concept for people outside of the Kingdom of God. Still the notion of home itself holds a warm spot in everyone’s heart. Home is the basis for our conversation.
We are planting the notion that as good and wonderful as our earthly homes can be, there is a heavenly HOME that is so much better. Who wouldn’t want to know about that? Anyone will admit that as good as our earthly homes are they are far from perfect. No home escapes pain, suffering and eventually death. And that is why our HOME is so much better.
Click here to find out how you can receive your bracelet. In these days following Easter, many people remain curious about faith – and what comes next following this life.
The promise of eternal life is available to anyone. If you’re curious what that looks like and how you could join God’s forever family, please click here. Leading people to the Lord is our highest privilege.
Or perhaps God might use this bracelet to use you to start a conversation that will change someone’s eternal destiny.
