Where were you on 9/11?
If you’re old enough to remember that Tuesday, I’m sure that question instantly brings an answer to your mind.
It was early in the morning here in Colorado when the news broke. I had been having devotions and turned on the television just before the second plane hit the World Trade Center. Like everybody else, I spent the rest of the day glued to the television, watching one of the most epic and tragic moments in American history unfold.
Years later I heard the remarkable testimony of Stanley Praimnath. I’ve never forgotten it. In honor of Patriot’s Day, I’d like to share that with you today on the Focus on the Family Broadcast.
Stanley was on the 81st floor of the south tower when the second plane crashed near him. The Lord moved mightily in Stan’s life that day, and it all started with a pair of thick, crepe-soled shoes he put on that morning for the very first time.
I hope you’ll pause for a few minutes today in remembrance of the nearly 3,000 people who died on September, 11, 2001. And I hope you’ll join us as Stanley shares his dramatic eye-witness testimony and his story of survival on “As the Towers Were Falling.” Hear why only the Lord’s grace got him and the man he believes God sent to help him to safety.
