If you’re having trouble getting life off the ground, take a cue from the Wright brothers, Wilbur and Orville. Be open to change and new ideas.
The Wright brothers weren’t the first to experiment with flight, but they accomplished something no one else did. While other inventors barely got their designs off the ground (if they got them off the ground at all), the Wright brothers developed a system that kept the plane aloft and stable. Their ability to control their machine opened the door to modern flight.
The secret to the Wilbur and Orville’s success was acknowledging that their original designs weren’t producing the desired results. Then, with hearts open to change, they reconsidered their approach. After watching how birds controlled their wings and tails, the brothers adapted what they observed into their airplane’s mechanical wings.
What part of life are you having trouble getting off the ground? Your marriage? Your parenting? Your career? Have a heart open to change and reconsider your approach. Find a godly mentor. Talk to people who have accomplished the things you’re hoping to achieve. Draw from their strength. Lean on their wisdom and learn to soar.
